Mind's Eye
An animated short giving you a glimpse into the inner workings of a psyche as it takes a trip through the phenomenon of 'free association' - when the thought of one word spontaneously triggers/suggests the thought of another word. Inspired by elements of psychedelic, visionary and surrealist art; this film takes you through the artist's stream of consciousness as it flows along morphing into different ideas as the words play through.
Concept
The idea was to play a surrealist game which involves a group of people starting off with one word and then going through the group with each person saying out the first word that comes into their mind on hearing the previous word. This game was used to generate a set of words/ideas to morph through as a stream of consciousness stitches them up into a narrative experience.
