Hi, I am Sid, an animator/artist who is attempting to understand and learn how to use the audio visual medium of a moving image with sound for expressing and communicating things that words alone simply cannot.

 

While lexical tools have fallen short in describing some of the complex as well as the abstract ideas, thoughts and feelings that we experience in today's postmodern life; audio visual tools have greatly enhanced what can be shared, how much can be shared and how quickly it can be shared. My goal is to push the limits on how complex or how abstract a thing can be expressed through this medium.

 

My philosophy, in both my personal life as well as my professional work, is inspired by principles of Zen Buddhism/Taoism and Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do. It involves observing and learning from everything that's around and then blending the contradictory extremes to achieve a suitable balance and equilibrium.
